Alumni Pollinator Garden

The Alumni Pollinator Garden was donated by Stephen King, a graduate of the Business Administration program in 1975. The garden was the first pollinator garden to be planted by students, staff, faculty, and community members to support pollinators on campus.

Prairie Blazing Star (Liatris pycnostacya)

Golden Alexanders (Zizia aurea)

Silene virginica (Fire pink)

Prairie Coneflower (Ratibida pinnata)

Joe Pye Weed (Eupatorium fistulosum)

Verbena ‘Homestead purple’ (Gladularia Canadensis)

Plants were purchased and planted with the help of Strawberry Plains Audubon Center.
