2018-2018 Eco Rep Leaders

 

 

Jenna White

Jenna White is a sophomore in the Croft Institute for International Studies. Along with international studies, she is studying Spanish and environmental studies. She is involved in a service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, and is a Global Ambassador here at the University. She grew up in East Tennessee where she enjoyed hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She loves to go to the farmers’ markets and her favorite thing to do in Oxford is to watch the sunset at Sardis Lake.

 

 

Megan Stubbs

Megan Stubbs is a sophomore at the University of Mississippi pursuing her B.A. in Biology with a pre-medical emphasis. She joined the Office of Sustainability as an Eco Rep Leader in the fall of 2017 with the intent of learning more about sustainability and implementing it in her everyday life. She is an advocate for recycling, composting, and other ways of living sustainably on and off campus. Megan enjoys walks in Lamar Park, playing soccer, and the smell of fresh-cut grass. In addition to being an Eco Rep Leader, Megan is on the Ole Miss Women’s Club Soccer team and a member of the Vietnamese Student Association and the American Medical Student Association.

 

Katie McLain

Katie McLain, nature enthusiast, doggo lover, and mineral identifying extraordinaire, is a sophomore geological engineering major from Alexandria, Louisiana. She is an active outdoorswoman and likes dancing in the rain. You can usually find her in the Brevard lounge studying geology or taking a nap, typically from the hours of 4 pm to 4 am. 

 

 

 

Claire Dixon

Claire Dixon is sophomore pre-med Anthropology major from Raymond, Mississippi. She loves all animals, especially dogs. In her free time, Claire enjoys gardening and tending her plants, reading, baking, and being with her friends. She first became interested in products that are environmentally friendly and, wanting to learn more about sustainability, became involved with the Eco Reps.

 

 

 

Izabelle Barnett

Izabelle Barnett is a sophomore Geological Engineering student from just outside Nashville. Tennessee. When she’s not busy finding geology puns online. Izabelle also works a CA for student housing and is involved in her sorority. In her free time at home, she enjoys going on hikes to various waterfalls in the surrounding area, or just finding a good tree with a view of the lake nearby her home to take a nap in her Eno hammock. Izabelle hopes to one day do research in renewable energy and with the goal of visiting every US National Park. When asked about Eco Reps, she gladly explains how much it “rocks”!

 

Kathryn Ragan

Kathryn Ragan is currently an Eco Rep for the Office of Sustainability at Ole Miss.  She is a junior and has been an Eco Rep for three years.  Her major is Psychology and has a minor in Chemistry.  She is very interested in learning about sustainability at Ole Miss and Oxford!

 

 

 

Taylor Mullins

Taylor Mullins is currently a junior enrolled in the nursing program here at Ole Miss. Taylor is from Madison Mississippi, and plans to return home next year to attend the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s nursing school. This is currently Taylor’s second year of being an Eco-Rep with the Office of Sustainability. Aside from being an Eco-Rep, Taylor is also a Luckyday Scholar, and a volunteer at the Madison Arc Animal Shelter. In his spare time, Taylor enjoys learning, reading, hunting, and spending time with his family.

 

 

 

 

Laura Conwell

Laura Conwell is a sophomore at the University of Mississippi, and is majoring in International Studies, Spanish, and Mathematics. Laura is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and is involved with Croft Senate, Croft Ambassadors, Model United Nations, and Greek Life. Her favorite vegetable is asparagus, and her favorite coffee shop in Oxford is Cups.
