Ole Miss Market Days

The University of Mississippi is hosting three Ole Miss Market Days this fall to educate students about the importance and many benefits of eating locally. We hope that by meeting vendors and experiencing the variety of products available in Oxford, students will be encouraged and empowered to visit local markets.
The market days will take place on:

Thursday, August 25
Student Union Plaza
12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Vendors – Click here to register for the event.
*This event will take place as part of the university’s official Welcome Week celebration.

Thursday, September 8
Student Union Plaza
12 p.m. – 3:30 pm.

Thursday, October 6
Student Union Plaza
12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
*This event will take place as part of the university’s annual Food Day Festival and Farmers Market.

Ole Miss Market Days are funded by the UM Green Fund, which supports sustainability projects on campus. Civil engineering student Sarah O’Brien proposed this project.
