Staff Positions
Sustainability Fellowship
The Sustainability Fellowship is a paid, full-time staff position for recent graduates with a strong interest in a professional career in sustainability. The Fellowship is a competitive appointment and lasts for one year, with the option to renew for a second year.

AmeriCorps VISTA Member
The AmeriCorps VISTA position is a full-time, one year staff position through the North Mississippi VISTA Project, a Domestic Peace Corps Project. This is open to anyone with a passion for sustainability and a desire to make a difference.

Student Internships
Green Student Intern Program
The Office of Sustainability offers several paid internship positions to students throughout the school year. Get involved with the recycling, composting, or transportation programs and gain valuable work experience as a student intern.

Volunteer Leadership Positions
Eco Rep Leaders
Eco Reps Leaders coordinate and lead sustainability programming in the residence halls. Eco Rep Leaders also create educational marketing materials, coordinate volunteer efforts, and provide a vital connection between first-year residential students and the Office of Sustainability.
Green Grove Team Leaders
Green Grove Team Leaders are students with a strong desire to serve in a leadership capacity with the Office of Sustainability’s Green Grove Gameday Recycling Program and directly influence a culture of sustainability at the university. Ambassadors serve as knowledgeable, professional points of contact for volunteers and fans during football gamedays and work closely with Green Grove Gameday Coordinators and Office of Sustainability staff to assess effectiveness of efforts and implement new ideas where needed.
Student Representative on the UM Green Fund Committee
The UM Green Fund Committee comprises a mixture of student, faculty, and staff members to accept and review Green Fund proposals. Join the UMGF Committee to help implement new sustainable changes on the Ole Miss campus.
ASB Cabinet’s Director of Campus Sustainability
The Associated Student Body Executive Branch includes a Cabinet position for campus sustainability with each administration. Get involved with student government and work with fellow peers to promote sustainability at the University.
