Help Ole Miss collect MORE glass recycling than MSU and win the Earth Month Egg Bowl!

This year, the Office of Sustainability is partnering with Door 2 Door Recycling and the MSU Sustainability Office to host a glass recycling competition. Bring your rinsed and sorted bottles, jars and other glass items to the JAC lot on April 13 between 2pm-6pm and help us win the Glass Bowl Trophy.

Door 2 Door Recycling, out of Madison, MS, offers curbside monthly glass recycling pickup by subscription. This glass, once sorted and processed, is used to supplement insulation in housing, extending its useful life and keeping it out of landfill. Learn more on the Door 2 Door website.

NOTE:

***All glass must be emptied, rinsed out and sorted by color: blue, green, brown/yellow, and clear.

***Please do not donate stemware, ceramics/pottery, auto glass or vases as these are different kinds of glass formulas that cannot be recycled through this process. We also cannot take glass that is shattered as it risks the safety of our staff and volunteers. Thank you for your consideration!
